
Patang is a LGBTQ organization dedicated to fostering a world of acceptance, love, and celebration of diverse identities. Inspired by the idea of a kite (patang in Hindi) soaring freely in the sky, the brand symbolizes the liberation of one’s true self, unbounded by societal norms.
Patang creates safe spaces for conversations, connections, and creativity, bringing together individuals from all walks of life to share their stories, celebrate their uniqueness, and build a community grounded in love and inclusivity.
The journey of branding and visual identity for Patang began with a deep exploration of the brand’s core values: acceptance, love, and freedom. The concept evolved from the idea of a kite, a traditional symbol in India, representing the joy and freedom of soaring high. This symbol was reimagined to reflect the modern and inclusive spirit of Patang, encapsulating the essence of the LGBTQ community.
